Lost In The World (let’s call it a director’s cut)
HIGHWIRED
This is a short film that pays tribute to director John Woo for creating the sub genre in action cinema called ‘Heroic Bloodshed’
The aesthetic style of this film is to emulate the Hong Kong heroic bloodshed genre, from the general green/blue-yelow hue, to the fast pace editing, POV action camera work and special effects.
A film by Sherman Mak
INVIO creations presents, in association with LAO Productions

Lost In The World
We originally had the idea of ‘Lost In The World’ to be a longer short film and are still in pre-production for it, but we took the opportunity of the 48 hour film competition at York University to produce a prelude to our character and our film’s premise.
Many special thanks to Druv Sareen and Christine Chow for making this film possible. The 48 hours could not have been any easier without you guys.
Our first professional commercial shoot.
It is currently being distributed through Fairchild TV (Toronto/Vancouver)
